Refund Policy

1. General Policy

At Podcasts To Text, we strive to provide the most accurate AI-powered transcriptions. However, because our service incurs immediate non-recoverable costs (AI processing power and server time), we have a strict refund policy.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to this policy.

2. Subscription Refunds

Subscription plans are billed in advance.

  • 7-Day Window: You may request a refund for a new subscription within seven (7) days of the initial purchase, provided that you have transcribed less than 15 minutes of audio during that period.
  • Renewal Billing: We do not offer refunds for automatic renewals. It is your responsibility to cancel your subscription before the next billing date via your account dashboard.
  • Unused Credits: Unused transcription minutes or credits do not have a cash value and are not refundable upon cancellation.

3. Accuracy & Quality Disclaimers

Refunds will not be issued based on the "accuracy" of the transcription. Our AI accuracy is dependent on the quality of the original audio, background noise, and speaker clarity.

We encourage users to test our service with shorter episodes or a free trial (if available) before committing to a larger plan.

4. Technical Failures

If a transcription fails due to a system error on our end (e.g., the server crashes during processing and no text is generated), we will:

  • Automatically credit your account with the failed minutes; OR
  • Provide a full refund for that specific transaction if a credit is not possible.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us with your Account Email and the Stripe Transaction ID.
